Start by giving us a call at 206- 525-2266, or by visiting one of our two Seattle locations. One of our friendly technicians will gladly give you a quick, free consultation, but we recommend checking in your computer so we can perform a full diagnostics regimen.

What is involved in your diagnostics procedures?
We do full hardware and software diagnostics, testing each individual component for faults or damage. We will also disassemble your computer when necessary to get to the root of any issue.

How much does a diagnostic cost?
Our standard diagnostic fee is $49 and unlike our competitors, includes any necessary disassembly of your computer.

Does the diagnostic fee go towards paying for repairs?
Yes, the $49 diagnostic fee will be discounted from the cost of labor on a given computer.

Do I have to pay for a diagnostic to be performed even if I think I already know what is wrong with my computer?
Yes. To ensure that all possible problems are identified and addressed, we do a thorough hardware and software diagnostic routine. This is also to ensure that any repair we perform will be one we can stand behind with confidence as a lasting solution.

About how long will it take for my computer to be fixed?
Here at eBits we perform diagnostics and repairs on a first-come, first-served basis. We can usually get the diagnostic done in 2-3 and have the repairs finished in no more than 5 days depending on the nature of the problem or repairs.

Do you offer any kind of rush service or any way to get my computer diagnosed and fixed faster?
Yes, we do. We offer rush service for all of our repairs and services. At an additional fee of $35 we can make sure we get back to you on the same day or the next day after you are checked-in.

Do you service phones or iPods?
Yes, we do. Call us to find out if we service your particular make and model.

Do you charge by the hour?
We do not charge by the hour. We generally charge by the individual service we perform.

How much does the average repair cost?
Since repairs can range in depth from software fixes to a complete motherboard replacement, the price range can be considerable. With that said, on average, most repairs are under $200, but the price will ultimately depend on the problem. Of course, we will go over our repair estimate with you before proceeding with any repair.

Do you build custom computers?
Yes, we do. We offer custom built desktops but at the moment we no longer offer custom laptops. Our desktops are built to order and we will work with you to get the performance you need for a price that works for you. All of our custom built machines come with a standard 2 year warranty.

Yes, we do maintain a selection of refurbished laptop computer. Call for more details.

Do you make house calls or office visits?
Absolutely. We offer professional on-site service to the Greater Seattle area at a rate of $95 per hour.

Do you recycle computers? If so, what products do you accept for recycling?
Yes, we accept any and all computer products for recycling. We ask a minimum $5 donation for recycling which will be donated directly to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Do you offer a guarantee on services you provide?
Yes, normally we offer a 30 or 60 day labor warranty unless otherwise specified.

Is there a warranty for any of the replaced parts?
We offer at least a 30-day warranty on all new parts and repairs. Depending on the part, a manufacturer warranty may apply.

Do you accept walk-ins?
Absolutely. Bring your computer to either of our two locations and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Prices for custom computers varies depending on your performance needs. For a reliable and future-proofed desktop computer you will need to spend at least around $500.
